Our Mission

The Black Leadership Board (BLB) is an organization dedicated to empowering black students through innovative programming, networks, and focused mentoring.

Our Vision

As a diverse group of friends and young professionals, we seek to capitalize and leverage our professional diversity, experiences, affiliations, and relationships to enhance the lives of young black students. The knowledge we share will help our organization grow and evolve to continue to empower the next generation of black leaders within our community.

In addition, we encourage the black students and professionals of Chicago to give back to their own community. It’s important to pay it forward and set a standard of giving to start a cycle that will begin to create the change we seek in our own city.
